We have updated our BankVic General Terms and Conditions
We regularly review our terms and conditions to ensure they remain up to date with changes to our products, services and regulatory requirements. These updates reflect how members use banking services today and provide greater clarity throughout the document.
What’s changing?
Here are some of the key updates:
- Cheque services have been retired
As cheque usage has declined across Australia, we have removed references to cheque services from several sections of the General Terms and Conditions. This reflects the retirement of cheque services previously outlined.
- Membership eligibility updates
The eligibility criteria has been updated to clarify that retired members of a police force are eligible for membership.
- General clarifications
A few additional amendments have been made throughout the document to improve readability, clarify existing terms and ensure consistency with industry requirements and banking practices.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is required. The updated General Terms and Conditions will take effect from 20 October 2026.
