Thanking our outgoing Directors
Board Chair Faith Page thanked Deb Robertson and Tony Long for their service to BankVic and its members.
During her nine years on the Board, Deb chaired the Risk Committee and the former Corporate Governance & Nominations Committee. She also served on the Audit Committee and the Governance, Remuneration & Nominations Committee, and most recently as Deputy Chair.
Tony served on the Board for six years, chairing the Governance, Remuneration & Nominations Committee and serving on the Digital Transformation & Cyber Committee, and the Audit Committee.
"On behalf of the Board, I thank Deb and Tony for their service to BankVic and our members. We acknowledge their contributions to the work of the Board and its committees, and extend our best wishes for the future,” Faith said.
CEO Anthony De Fazio also thanked both outgoing Directors.
“Deb joined the Board in 2017 and Tony in 2020. Their time on the Board has spanned a period of significant growth for BankVic. On behalf of the executive team, we are grateful for the guidance, counsel, and expertise they each brought to BankVic. We wish them all the best, knowing they remain active contributors within the police and first responder community,” Anthony said.
Member participation in the election
Nominations opened in April for three Board positions. Ten candidates contested the election, with member voting held from 8 to 30 September 2026.
Board Chair Faith Page thanked all candidates for nominating and members for participating in the election. “As a member-owned bank, member participation in Director elections is an important part of our governance. Thank you to everyone who put themselves forward and to the members who voted,” Faith said.
The Board changes took effect at the conclusion of BankVic’s Annual General Meeting on 4 November 2026.
